President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa

As part of our 100 Years of BIAL campaign, it was up to us to show our commitment to Innovation in Health to His Excellency, the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who visited our facilities on June 25th.

They accompanied the Minister of Health, Ana Paula Martins, and the president of the Chamber of Trofa, Sérgio Humberto.​​

The President of the Republic also decorated BIAL's oldest employee with the Order of Merit. Alfredo Ferreira has been working for 38 years, he is a production operator and works in the industrial area, in packaging, having dedicated his professional life to serving the company.​
